Corn Maze

We took the kids to the cornmaze down at the fish farm.  It was fun.  Eli didn't really care for the scary things.  He kept saying, "No daddy!  That's scary!"  It wasn't too long and just fun enough to entertain all the little ones.  We were walking through the maze with another family, unknown, and their little girl kept crying whenever someone would yell or try to scare us.  It was funny.

Kanyon's First Band Concert

 This past Thursday night we went to canyon's first band concert.  They did really well.  They combined the Orion bands with those of Weber High and so the concert lasted nearly two hours.  It was fun though.  Kanyon did great.

 They held the concert in Orion's Gym instead of at Weber high since they are getting ready for the play up at the high school.

 They packed a ton of us onto one side of the gym's bleachers and there just wasn't enough room.  Thankfully we got there early enough to get seats.  Unfortunately, this was at the same time as the Halloween party at Green Acres, so Lana and I had a neighbor take the three middle kids to  Green Acres and we took Eli to the concert with us.

Toads

 We took the kids to Toads during our spring break.  We had a blast playing lazer-tag, riding in the go-carts playing video games and especially miniature golfing.  It was nice to just spend some quality time out of the house where there were no friends or tv.  We had fun racing around the go-cart track.  Kanyon and I had fun racing each other and trying to prove who is the better driver.  That could only end one way….badly for Kanyon!  LOL!

The funnest part was our family gaming up on other people in the laser-tag room.  We were awesome.

Dentist Party

 Our dentist throws a little dinner and party every year to thank his customers and our kids had a great time on the bounce-arounds and eating Icee's.

Soccer

 The girls started soccer a few weeks ago.  Emma is in green and Kate is in purple.  This is Kate's first season and her very first game she scored her teams only two goals.  She is loving it.

Lana is going to be mad that I posted this.  I thought it was cute.  She was getting her hair done and i thought she was trying to protect her thoughts from the invading aliens.  HA HA!

Kanyon and the Desert Star Theater "The Lone Stranger"

We took Kanyon on a date night down to the Desert Star Theater.  The show they were presenting was  "The Lone Stranger".  We had a great time.
